Windows Into The Past
Recently I was fortunate enough to be contacted by a dealer in old photos. He had acquired some old photos and cabinet cards of the Cooke family. He sent me some scans, and I am pleased to present them here.
The photos relate to the family of the 9th Baronet, Sir William Ridley Charles Cooke (1827-1894).
Here are the photos in their original form.

What a brilliant site to remember the Cooke family and the person I was researching, Lady Harriet Blanche Juanita Georgina Cooke, nee Feilden. Lady Cooke is buried in our local cemetery, Teignmouth Old Cemetery, plot OO60. I with a band of Friends of Teignmouth Cemetery, are clearing and restoring the cemetery from the neglected state the council have allowed.
